Great news today as our Milk Choc Chunk Cookie has been short listed as a finalist in the Blas na hEireann Awards. Baked using pure Irish butter and Irish oats with generous chunk of milk chocolate, our Choc Chunk cookie went down a treat a Bloom and now it’s a favourite of the expert taste panel of Blas na hEireann.
A massive thanks to the nearly 2,000 people at Bloom who helped us choose the latest addition to the East Coast Bakehouse cookie range. It was a close call between our Mocha Choc Chunk cookie and Crunchy Stem Ginger and Choc Chunk cookie, but there can only be one winner.
Over 60% of respondents chose one cookie with comments including: “new and original”, “love the crunch”, “a fresh taste”, “love the taste hit”, “love the chocolate bits” but most of all “I love the ginger”. So watch out, for our Crunchy Stem Ginger and Choc Chunk Cookie as it hits the shelves in the next few months.
